Miss Alice Wilby
As a Physician’s Associate (PA), Alice is a healthcare professional, medically trained to work independently, with support from and under the supervision of the GP’s here at the practice. PA’s complete an extensive 2 year post graduate course and see patients who contact the practice for on the day care. All PA appointments booked will have been triaged by the duty GP to ensure suitability. PA’s then take a history and examine to formulate diagnoses and management plans. She is also trained to interpret test results and can perform certain diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Any necessary prescriptions and further imaging requests will then be issued by a supervising doctor following the consultation.
