Dr Pamela J Smith – Female, GP Partner (part-time)
MB ChB 1990 (Liverpool) DCH 1996 (Liverpool) MRCGP 1996 (London)

Dr Smith joined the practice in 1997 following the birth of the first of her three daughters.

Dr Smith works 70% part time in the practice and her clinical interests include dermatology, mental health, diabetes and medical education and is an experienced educational supervisor for GP Trainees.

When not in the practice Dr Smith works for Health Education England as an Associate Dean for Quality and Assessment, works for NHS England appraising local GPs, works as a Clinician for the NHS Practitioner Health Programme, an NHS service for doctors and dentists with mental health concerns or addiction problems and works with the local Clinical Commissioning Group Promoting Quality of care and supporting neighbouring practices.

Dr Smith is a Worcestershire representative on the board of the Midlands Faculty of General Practitioners and a trained Mentor.

Dr Rachel Pemberton – Female, GP Partner (part-time)
MBChB 2004 (Birmingham) MRCGP DCH DRCOG DFSRH

Dr Pemberton joined the practice in 2013.

Clinical interest include women’s health, family planning, child health and care of the elderly.

Dr Stuart Rodger – Male, GP Partner (part-time)
MB ChB 2008 (Birmingham) MRCGP 2013

Dr Rodger joined the partnership in 2015 after completing his training at the surgery and subsequently as an associate GP.

His clinical interests include care of the elderly and rheumatology.

Dr Nicholas Boeckx – Male, GP Partner (part-time)
MBChB. MRCP. FRCGP

Dr Boeckx joined the practice in 2017 having previously worked as a GP in Halesowen.

His special interests are IT and medical education.

He is a GP Training Programme Director for Coventry & Warwickshire and Course Organiser for exam preparation courses with my RCGP and the Midlands RCGP.

Dr Aparna Oozageer – Female, GP Partner (part-time)
MBBS (London) DRCOG DFSRH

Dr Oozageer joined the practice in 2016 having previously worked in Droitwich.

Clinical Interests include women’s health and family planning, being trained in the insertion of coils and subcutaneous contraceptive implants.

Dr Jonathan Leach – Male, Associate GP (part-time)
OBE MB ChB 1983 (Sheffield) MSc (Med) (London 1990) FRCGP DRCOG DIMC RCS (Edinburgh)

Dr Leach joined the practice in 2009 after originally pursuing a military career having worked around the world for 25 years.

In addition to work at Davenal House, he is a clinical lead for Herefordshire and Worcestershire CCG, Associate Medical Director for Military and Veterans Health for NHS England and Joint Honorary Secretary of the Royal College of General Practitioners. Dr Leach was awarded an OBE for services to general practice in the 2020 New Year’s Honours list.

Professional interests include trying to improve the quality of general practice and deal with current challenges, urgent care and supporting members of the Armed Forces community, including veterans.

Dr Lars Ole Grimstvedt – Male, Associate GP (part-time)
MBChB (2005) MRCGP (2012)

Dr Lars has been at the surgery since 2013.

Clinical interests include care of the elderly, diabetes and minor surgery.

Dr Lemees Al-Chalabi – Female, Associate GP (part-time)MBChB Hons (2009) DRCOG (2015) MRCGP (2018)

Dr Al-Chalabi has been at the surgery since 2018 initially as a GP Registrar. She was taken on as an associate GP following completion of her training.

Dr Christopher Gillespie – Male, Associate GP (part-time) MBChB MRCGP PGDipSEM DFSEM(UK)

Dr Gillespie joined the surgery in August 2021.

Dr Adam J Lee – Male, Salaried GP (part time)

MB ChB 1988 (Birmingham) DCH MRCGPDr Lee worked as a partner from 2004- 2023, having worked as a GP in Wythall before moving areas. Dr Lee is now working 2 sessions with us following his retirement as a partner. Clinical interests include respiratory medicine, minor surgery and cardiovascular medicine.
